We kicked off the new year 2010, celebrating African-American
History Month in February.
We had our first Salute to Youth for the year during National Poetry Month (Apr).
We had a great time. Both were blessed events. If you were there you
know. We had a full house and soooo many brothahs in the audience!
In June, on Father's Day we celebrated MEN!

Join us for our 2nd SALUTE TO YOUTH in 2010 as we encourage our
young people to come share their God-given talents in poetry, spoken word, songs, music and more with others on OPEN MIC in
a family-friendly atmosphere.
Special guests include the mime group- Hands For
God and the Savior's Ordered Steppers. Music by the MTM Band. Refreshments served.

To all of the poets, singers and other artists who
agreed to be featured guests in 2006, 2007 & 2008; God bless you, my friends. Even if I didn't know you well
when I featured you at Poet-ify's first location, I know you now. You have my thanks and gratitude. Now that we've begun
again, please come back and bless the mic. You'll love our new place.
